Police officers promoted

JAKARTA: Eleven police officers were promoted during a
ceremony held at National Police Headquarters on Wednesday.

Five one-star generals were promoted to two-star generals.
They include deputy chief of detectives Brig. Gen. Gorries Mere,
Legal Development Division chief at National Police Headquarters
Brig. Gen. Hari Sunanto, Police Academy chief Brig. Gen.
Rifwahyono, deputy chief of the Financial Transaction and Report
Analysis Center (PPATK), Brig. Gen. Susno Duadjim, and an expert
adviser at the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas), Brig.
Gen. Dedy Suardy.

Six middle-ranking officers were promoted to one-star general.
They are the chief of the fraud squad, Sr. Comr. Syaffudin,
director of transnational security Sr. Comr. Suryadarma Ali and
Central Sulawesi Police chief Sr. Comr. Oegroseno.

The other three officers are head of the development bureau at
the operations division in National Police Headquarters, Sr.
Comr. W. Pattiasina, air police chief Sr. Comr. Bambang Tjahyono
and Lemhanas regional inspector Sr. Comr. Robert Aritonang. -- JP
