Police Officer Who Tortured and Doused Wife with Acid Tests Positive for Methamphetamine

An investigation into the alleged abuse by Tegal City Police officer Aiptu N has uncovered that he tested positive for methamphetamine. The finding emerged during the inquiry into accusations that he tortured, confined, and doused a woman identified as his siri wife, MAN (30), with acid. Central Java Police Public Relations Head, Commissioner Artanto, confirmed the result of the urine test. “The urine test contained methamphetamine,” Artanto stated on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. He added that investigators are currently tracing the origin of the narcotics. The case came to light after the victim, M, reported the officer to the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police. Her legal team from Hotman 911 filed the report on Thursday, 2 July 2026, detailing repeated abuse, confinement, forced drug consumption, and an acid attack that left the victim with burns across nearly half her body. The report was registered under number LP/B/295/VII/2026/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI. Following the report, the victim underwent several hours of questioning before being taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for a medical examination.
