Police nab drug trafficker in Bogor

BOGOR: Police arrested a drug dealer on Sunday in front of Bogor
Botanical Gardens on Jl. Oto Iskandar Dinata and confiscated from
him 20 grams of methamphetamine, 20 ecstasy pills, two sheets of
aluminum foil and an electronic set of scales.

Bogor Police precinct chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Bambang Sugeng said
that the suspect, Rusdy Saeful Amri, 31, was a resident of Villa
Bogor Indah in northern Bogor.

He said that after carrying out an investigation, the police
concluded the suspect had regularly sold methamphetamine and
ecstasy pills.

"We kept an eye on his house and found that it had been
frequented by youngsters wanting to buy drugs," he said, adding
that the suspect had been trafficking drugs for about a year.

The suspect admitted that he got the drugs from Heri Ucong,
who lived in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. He usually bought 20
grams of methamphetamine at a price of Rp 250,000 per gram and
sold it at Rp 350,000 per gram.--JP
