Police, Military, and Community Strengthen Synergy to Maintain Public Security in South Jakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Police, in collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and community elements, are strengthening synergy to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) through a joint roll call for the Central Rayon held in the courtyard of Pesanggrahan Police Sector, South Jakarta, on Thursday.
“Police and the community form a unified entity that supports each other in safeguarding the area’s security,” stated Pesanggrahan Police Chief Kompol Seala Syah Alam when contacted in Jakarta on Thursday.
He explained that collaboration between authorities and the community is the primary key to creating a safe and conducive situation.
The joint roll call involved personnel from Pesanggrahan Police Sector, Kebayoran Lama Police Sector, Kebayoran Baru Police Sector, and Cilandak Police Sector, as well as TNI elements and various community groups, including community awareness groups for public security and online motorcycle taxi drivers.
The event was also attended by South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol I Putu Yuni Setiawan along with his main officials and police sector chiefs.
In his directives, the roll call participants were urged to emphasise the importance of cross-sector collaboration and readiness in maintaining public security with a humane approach.
Following the roll call, the activities continued with large-scale joint patrols that covered several vulnerable points, including Pesanggrahan Raya Road, M Saidi Road, and Ciledug Raya Road.
Through these activities, the synergy between Police, TNI, and the community serves as a concrete step in preserving security stability in the South Jakarta area.
“With this togetherness, we hope the public security situation remains safe and conducive,” Seala remarked.
