Police involve residents in blood donation drive to mark Bhayangkara 80th anniversary

The Kepulauan Seribu Police involved residents, including fishermen, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and journalists, in a blood donation drive to mark the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara. Kepulauan Seribu Police Chief AKBP Argadija Putra stated in Jakarta on Thursday that the event was held as a form of togetherness and social concern. He said that through this blood donation activity, the Kepulauan Seribu Police not only performed a health service but also strengthened synergy and partnership with all elements of society that have contributed to maintaining security and public order in the Kepulauan Seribu region. According to him, the involvement of the Community Security Belt (Sabuk Kamtibmas), online motorcycle taxi communities, fishermen, and the press symbolises the strong collaboration between the Indonesian National Police and the community in building a safe, healthy, and harmonious environment. “We are taking advantage of the momentum of the 80th Bhayangkara Day to strengthen ties and togetherness with all partners of the Indonesian National Police,” he said. He added that blood donation is not only a humanitarian activity but also a manifestation of shared concern to help those in need. Besides benefiting the recipients of the blood donations, this activity also serves as a means to strengthen the good relationship between the Kepulauan Seribu Police and the community, fishermen, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and the press who have been part of the Community Security Belt. He expressed hope that the spirit of togetherness, social concern, and synergy between the Indonesian National Police and the community can continue to be strongly maintained, particularly in maintaining security, order, and supporting development in the Kepulauan Seribu region.
