Police Investigation Underway Following Allegations Against Hercules; Ahmad Bahar's Daughter Presents Video Evidence

Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of writer Ahmad Bahar, visited the Polda Metro Jaya police headquarters on Tuesday (2/6/2026). Her visit was to fulfil an invitation for questioning regarding an alleged unlawful detention case involving the Chairman of GRIB Jaya, Hercules.

Ilma’s legal counsel, Gufroni, stated that they attended Polda Metro Jaya to clarify allegations of criminal hostage-taking and the deprivation of liberty allegedly committed by Hercules. The case was officially reported by his client on Friday (22/5/2026).

“Praise be to God, the Polda Metro Jaya authorities have acted swiftly in responding to the report made by Ms Ilma, who is accompanied by advocates from LBH-LBH and Islamic organisations,” he said at Polda Metro Jaya on Tuesday.

He confirmed that they have prepared several pieces of evidence regarding the alleged criminal acts committed by Hercules against Ilma, including photographs and videos. Furthermore, the reporting party has brought several witnesses to strengthen the client’s report.

“We have prepared everything on a single flash drive, which we will later hand over to the investigators to uncover everyone involved in this alleged hostage-taking case,” said the Head of Research and Advocacy at the Central Leadership of the Legal Aid and Public Advocacy Institute (LBH AP PP) Muhammadiyah.

Within the evidence, Gufroni stated that there is a video showing Ahmad Bahar flanked by two large-bodied men wearing black masks. In the video, Ahmad Bahar is depicted being treated poorly.
