Police investigating Bekasi fire

BEKASI: Police are investigating the fire that burned down PT
Prima Jasa building on Jl. Raya Narogong, Bekasi.
The fire started on Thursday at around 1 p.m, no fatalities
were reported.

Bekasi Police detective chief Comr. Hendro Pandowo said on
Friday that the fire was probably caused by a short circuit.
However, he said that a thorough investigation, including a
laboratory test, was still needed to determine the cause of the
blaze.

One of the company's employees, Murni, 30, said she had
managed to escape from the 150-square-meter building before the
fire had spread.

Four fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the fire but to
no avail. Material losses are estimated at hundreds of millions
