Perpetrators Used Two Motorcycles

Earlier, police revealed that four suspected acid throwers who attacked KontraS Deputy Coordinator Andrie Yunus used two motorcycles. The perpetrators then scattered after the attack.

“Allegedly four suspected perpetrators using two motorcycles waited for the victim in front of KFC Cikini, then followed the victim moving towards Jalan Diponegoro and subsequently towards Jalan Salemba 1,” said Director of Crime Investigation of Jakarta Metro Police Brigadier General Iman Imanuddin in a press conference at Jakarta Metro Police headquarters.

The acid attack then occurred on Jalan Salemba 1, specifically at the intersection of Jalan Talang, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (12/3) at 20:37 WIB. Police also obtained CCTV footage to investigate the case.
