Police Investigate Death of Man Named Sutrimo in Kebayoran Baru
A man named Sutrimo was found dead in front of a beauty clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Police are currently investigating the case.
Based on circulating information, the deceased was reportedly the former household manager of a former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes. The victim was found with foam at the mouth.
‘It is still being investigated,’ said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, to reporters on Sunday (26/7).
Budi explained that the victim was found unconscious on Thursday (23/7). He was subsequently taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital.
‘The Jakarta Metropolitan Police extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Mr Sutrimo. May the deceased rest in peace and the family be given strength and fortitude,’ said Budi.
The Jakarta Metropolitan Police, through the General Criminal Investigation Directorate together with the South Jakarta Metropolitan Resort Police, is conducting an investigation. Police are clarifying information with the family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and other parties with knowledge of the incident.
Police are also investigating the history of the ambulance booking, the initial location where the victim was found, and other related information. The investigation is currently ongoing.
‘The investigation is being carried out professionally, carefully, and in accordance with applicable regulations to obtain the full facts. Because the process is still underway, we cannot yet conclude the cause of the deceased’s death,’ he explained.
