Police Investigate Death of Former High-Ranking Prosecutor's Household Staffer at South Jakarta Beauty Clinic

Police are investigating the death of a man named Sutrimo, who was found in front of a beauty clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, before being pronounced dead. Officers have conducted a crime scene investigation.

“We processed the crime scene earlier. As soon as we received the information, after checking the TKP, we tried to gather information around the scene, witnesses, and CCTV,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Iskandarsyah on Sunday (26/7/2026).

Iskandarsyah stated that the crime scene investigation is now complete. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the location and searching for witnesses who saw the victim when he was found dead.

“We are still gathering witnesses and searching for CCTV,” he said.

Based on observations at the location on Sunday (26/7) at 20.30 WIB, police line tape had been installed at the scene. From outside the fence, the interior of the clinic was seen covered with dark curtains. The exterior lights of the clinic appeared to be on, while the interior lights were off. No human activity was visible inside the premises.

According to circulating information, the victim was found with foam at the mouth. The victim is alleged to have been the household manager for former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah. Police are still investigating the victim’s identity.

“It is still being investigated,” said Polda Metro Jaya Head of Public Relations Commissioner Budi Hermanto on Sunday (26/7).

Budi explained that the victim was found unconscious on Thursday (23/7). The victim was subsequently taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital and was declared dead on arrival.

“Polda Metro Jaya expresses its condolences on the passing of Mr. Sutrimo. May the deceased rest in peace and the bereaved family be given strength and fortitude,” said Budi.

Polda Metro Jaya, through the General Criminal Investigation Directorate together with the South Jakarta Metro Police, is conducting an investigation. Police are clarifying information with the family, the ambulance driver, hospital staff, and other parties aware of the incident. Police are also investigating the ambulance booking history, the initial location where the victim was found, and other related information. The investigation is currently ongoing.
