Police in East Nusa Tenggara and BULOG Launch Cheap Food Movement

In an effort to maintain food price stability ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijra, the East Nusa Tenggara Police Department, through Kupang City Police Resort, jointly with the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Office of BULOG (state-owned enterprise for logistics), launched the Cheap Food Movement of the National Police in Kupang on Friday 13 March. Ten tonnes of subsidised rice (SPHP) were distributed for sale to the public to ensure food availability remained secure, prices remained affordable, and to assist in marketing subsidised rice and other food commodities.
