Police identify other 'terrorists'

DENPASAR, Bali: Police said here on Tuesday a 31-old high school teacher had assisted Noordin M. Top, the country's most wanted terrorist suspect, in providing information technology, including setting up a terrorist website on the Internet.

Bali Police spokesman Sr. Comr. A.S. Reniban said that Abdul Aziz, who taught at the SMA Al-Irsyad senior high school in Pekalongan, Central Java, built and updated the website regularly at Noordin's request.

The website contained messages and personal contacts for Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) members, he added.

Reniban said that apart from Abdul, another suspect in the second Bali blasts, Anif Zulhanuddin, was also believed to be a close accomplice of the Malaysian fugitive Noordin.

Anif was reported to have met with Noordin regularly but never reported him to police, Reniban said. --JP
