Police Hunt Frendry Dona, Controller of Secret Lab Producing Etomidate Vape

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Narcotics Crime Directorate of the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency has issued a wanted list for Frendry Dona alias Fhoku, who is suspected of being the controller of a secret laboratory (clandestine lab) producing vape cartridges containing etomidate in East Jakarta.

The Director of Narcotics Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that Frendry played the role of the mastermind behind the drug trafficking operation.

“Wanted notice for Frendry Dona alias Fhoku, who acted as the controller of the etomidate clan lab in Jakarta,” said Eko in his statement on Wednesday (22/4/2026).

He is approximately 165 cm tall, weighs 65 kg, has straight black hair, slanted eyes, a prominent nose, lips that are not too thick, fair skin, and is estimated to be 38 years old.

Police also urged the public who know of Frendry’s whereabouts to immediately report to the authorities via the number listed in the wanted notice.

“The individual is a recidivist in drug cases,” he said.

This case was uncovered after an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) became suspicious of a package he was carrying on Monday night (13/4/2026).

The driver then reported to the on-duty officers at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency and handed over the item for examination.

X-ray examination results showed the presence of narcotic contents.

“After checks and examinations by Subdit IV personnel, 13 black-coloured cartridges with a Mafia logo were found, suspected to contain etomidate liquid, and one clear packet suspected to contain meth,” Eko explained.

The item was initially directed to be delivered to the Danau Cavalio area in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.

However, the pickup was done by another party and then sent back to a hotel in the Matraman area, East Jakarta.
