Police hunt four iron fence thieves in Pademangan
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Police are hunting four men suspected of stealing iron fencing from a public road in Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta, on Tuesday. “This theft was reported by the public through the 110 service. Officers are conducting an investigation into this case,” said Pademangan Police Chief AKP Daniel Dirgala in Jakarta on Tuesday. The theft was reported by residents who were concerned about the criminal act committed by four unidentified men at around 4.30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time. The situation left the boundary fence with the road no longer in place and caused residents to feel uneasy about the incident. “The theft of the fence has disrupted the security and comfort of local residents,” he said. His team is still developing leads to solve the case. Officers have examined the location and taken statements from the complainant and several witnesses. “Hopefully it can be solved and the four perpetrators can be arrested soon,” Daniel said.
