The National Police (Polri) headquarters, together with journalists, distributed 100 food packages and financial assistance to orphaned and disadvantaged children and families in West Jakarta. The distribution of aid was conducted as part of sharing happiness during the Ramadan season.

The assistance and food packages were provided at Al Ikhlas Mosque, Joglo, West Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. This activity was initiated by journalists and supported by Polri officials.

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Public Relations for Polri’s Public Information Division, described the assistance as a form of synergy between Polri and journalists to share with communities in need during Ramadan.

“During this blessed month, Polri collaborates with Trunojoyo journalists to share, particularly with communities in need,” Trunoyudo told reporters.

He hoped the assistance distributed would become a blessing for the children receiving it. “May the assistance provided become a blessing and benefit to communities ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Yamin, Chairman of Al Ikhlas Mosque’s management board, expressed gratitude to Polri headquarters and Trunojoyo journalists.

“We are grateful for the provision of assistance and food packages to orphaned and disadvantaged children. We also pray that all police officers assigned to Operation Ketupat 2026 can carry out their duties smoothly,” he said.

A representative from Trunojoyo journalists, Yudha Marhaean, conveyed a message for communities in the Al Ikhlas Mosque area to maintain harmony and unity.

“We hope this brings joy, spirit and prayers so that our children grow into a strong generation with noble character and benefit for nation and religion,” he explained.

In addition to monetary assistance and 100 food packages for recipients, Polri headquarters and journalists also distributed 100 meals for breaking the fast.

The assistance distribution today is part of a series of activities involving the distribution of 1,500 meals and iftar provisions to communities at several locations around Polri headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March.
