Police Guard Sutrimo's Grave Ahead of Exhumation
The Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng) have stated they are ready to assist in the exhumation process of Sutrimo (42), who previously worked as a caretaker at the residence of former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Ardiansyah. Sutrimo’s grave, located in Wangon District, Banyumas, is currently under police guard.
“The Central Java Police are certainly ready to assist the Metro Jaya Police with the exhumation, whether it be the preparation, execution, or post-exhumation stages,” said Central Java Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Yulianto, during an interview at the Central Java Police Headquarters in Semarang on Monday (10/8/2026).
Yulianto confirmed that Sutrimo’s family had reported the death to the Banyumas Police on Saturday (8/8/2026). “Subsequently, an examination was conducted on witnesses presented by the family. There were five witnesses presented by the family to the Banyumas Police,” he said.
“Of course, this is because Sutrimo’s death was considered unnatural by his family, so they then filed a report,” Yulianto added.
According to Yulianto, the Central Java Police and Banyumas Police have already held a case review regarding the family’s report. “The conclusion was to transfer or hand over further handling of this report to the Metro Jaya Police,” he stated.
