Police have examined 25 witnesses in connection with a report filed by cosmetic doctor Oky Pratama regarding alleged defamation through the delivery of several flower boards to multiple locations. Head of Sub-Directorate of Public Information at the Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Division, AKBP Onkoseno, stated that the case has now been escalated to the investigation stage. “To date, the case has entered the investigation stage and investigators have examined a total of 25 witnesses,” Onkoseno said in a statement on Thursday (23/7). Referring to Oky’s report, the flower boards deemed defamatory were sent to his clinic and his home. “According to the complainant, the incident involved the delivery of several flower boards containing what he considered slander and defamation against him, sent to several locations, namely his clinic and his home,” Onkoseno explained. Onkoseno added that investigators will request statements from several other witnesses and gather additional evidence to clarify the case. “Investigators will still examine several other witnesses and collect further evidence,” he said. Previously, cosmetic doctor Oky Pratama reported an alleged act of terror in the form of flower board deliveries containing slander and defamation to the Metro Jaya Police. The report was filed on 28 August 2025 and registered under number LP/B/6090/VIII/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA. “Doctor Oky reported an incident where his home and workplace were sent flower boards containing elements of terror and intimidation,” said Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, to reporters on Tuesday (3/2). During the process, Budi said investigators facilitated a mediation session between the parties on 8 January 2026. However, the mediation could not proceed because the reported individuals, identified as HPS and W, did not attend.
