Police have dismantled an illegal pharmaceutical sales operation in Ciangsana Village, Gunung Putri District, Bogor, West Java, where potent drugs were being sold without proper distribution authorisation. The illegal operation was concealed as a mobile phone credit top-up counter.

The Criminal Investigation Unit received a tip-off from residents about unauthorised drug sales in the area, leading to an inspection of the premises on Saturday, 14 March 2026 at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time. During the inspection, officers discovered one suspect engaged in selling the illegal pharmaceuticals.

Police seized significant quantities of contraband medications from the location, including 205 units of Hexymer, 45 units of Tramadol, 5 units of Trihex, 6 units of Alprazolam, and 4 units of Atara—totalling over 260 units of potent drugs without proper authorisation. Additionally, investigators secured a mobile phone and cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales.

The suspect and all evidence have been taken to the police station for further investigation. According to Gunung Putri Police Commander Kompol Aulia Robby Kartika Putra, the operation was initiated following community complaints about unauthorised pharmaceutical distribution in the district.
