Police Continue Manhunt for Boy and Awan, Members of Koko Erwin Drug Network
Jakarta — The Directorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) stated on Monday that it continues to pursue suspected drug trafficker A. Hamid alias Boy and drug courier Satriawan alias Awan, who are part of the network of Koko Erwin, currently a fugitive.
“Currently, the joint team from Subdirectorate IV and the NIC Task Force of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim is conducting intensive searches and manhunt operations for wanted persons A. Hamid alias Boy and wanted person Satriawan alias Awan,” said Brigjen Pol. Eko Hadi Santoso, Head of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim at the National Police, in Jakarta on Monday.
He stated that the search is being conducted across several regions in Indonesia, including the Jabodetabek area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Kalimantan, and North Sumatera (Sumut).
“We are anticipating that the wanted persons may flee abroad through illegal routes in the Kalimantan and Sumut regions, following the escape route of suspect Koko Erwin,” he said.
Previously, Eko announced that Boy and Awan have been placed on the wanted persons list (DPO).
He explained that Boy’s role was to provide money to AKP Malaungi, the former head of the Narcotics Bureau of Bima City Police Resort, who is a suspect in a drug case.
“Suspect Malaungi, during the period from June 2025 to November 2025, received a total of Rp1.8 billion from A. Hamid alias Boy as an allowance payment,” he said.
Subsequently, Malaungi gave the money to AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, the former police chief of Bima City Police Resort, who has been designated as a suspect in a drug case at the Bima City Police Headquarters.
Regarding Boy’s physical characteristics, Eko described the suspect as approximately 171 centimetres tall, heavyset, with wavy black hair, olive complexion, round eyes, an oval face, and thick eyebrows.
Boy, he continued, works as a driver and resides in Bima City, NTB. Previously, Boy was sentenced to six months in prison for Class I narcotics abuse on 29 July 2021.
Meanwhile, Satriawan alias Dae Awan alias Awan served as a courier in the network of suspected drug trafficker Koko Erwin.
In the drug case involving Koko Erwin, Awan’s role was to deliver methamphetamine obtained by Erwin for distribution in the Bima region, NTB.
Regarding Awan’s physical characteristics, Eko revealed that the suspect is 160 centimetres tall, has one missing front tooth, fair skin, short greying hair with some baldness, and has a distinctive large scar on his leg.
Regarding his occupation, Awan is a self-employed businessman. He resides in Lampe Village, Bima City, NTB.
