Police confiscated illegal beverages

JAKARTA (JP): The City Police have confiscated more than a thousand bottles of alcoholic beverages which were illegally sold at a beverage store in Setia Budi, South Jakarta.

The head of the operation Capt. Marsidi HP said on Tuesday that the alcoholic beverages were confiscated since the owners of the store had no permit to sell such kind of drinks.

The confiscated beverages consist of 648 bottles of Mansion House whiskey and vodka with up to 40 percent of alcohol content and another 564 bottles of locally produced wines with 17 percent of alcohol content.
