Police confirm a man fell from the third floor of PIM 2, South Jakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Metro Jaya Regional Police confirmed the occurrence of a man who fell from the third floor of Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 2 in South Jakarta, on Sunday. ‘Yes, the incident involved a man falling from the third floor of PIM 2. He was then taken to Fatmawati Hospital for treatment,’ said the Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Head, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, in his statement in Jakarta, on Sunday. Budi said the incident is currently under investigation by Kebayoran Lama Police Sector. He also added that officers are still probing the chronology and which caused the incident. Meanwhile, Kebayoran Lama Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Muhammad Kukuh Islami, also confirmed the incident that occurred around 13:00 WIB. However, Kukuh did not provide details, and only revealed that the victim’s initials are AYA, age 32. Earlier, a post circulated on the social media X via the account @pim_mall that uploaded a photo believed to depict the incident of a man falling from the third floor. ‘The man didn’t talk, when he has problems… this is what happens,’ read the post.
