Police Chief's Response to Reform Commission's Recommendations on Polri Career Progression

Dofiri explained that the career track record must be reviewed from the rank of Second Lieutenant, which has been rigidly regulated in the Polri career development system. “For High Officers, when someone becomes a Pati, ideally, that is what is recommended. Ideally, when someone becomes a Pati in Polri, the regulation is clear: a person must have 25 years of officer service or MDP,” he clarified.
