National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended the 53rd anniversary celebration of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers' Unions (KSPSI). Among the commitments pledged by Sigit was that police health facilities would be made available for use by workers.

In addition, Sigit ordered the Police Labour Desk to provide assistance to all workers, particularly those affected by redundancies.

The directive was delivered by General Sigit during his address at the KSPSI 53rd anniversary event held at PT Victory Chinglu Indonesia, Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, on Monday (16 February).

Sigit stated that the government also wished to see industrial relations function well. Conducive industrial relations are expected to ensure that company operations continue to run smoothly, enabling workers to achieve prosperity.

"On this 53rd anniversary, our hope is that the struggle of all colleagues, the struggle of fellow workers to realise worker welfare, naturally becomes our shared endeavour. Therefore, the National Police will certainly continue to support the struggles of all fellow workers," said Sigit.

"And this is naturally the hope of us all, which is why we also wish to encourage the business climate and investment climate in Indonesia to truly grow, thereby opening up the widest possible employment opportunities," he added.

**Calling for Mitigation of Worker Redundancies**

Sigit said the National Police, through the Labour Desk, continued to work on mitigating the impact on workers to prevent redundancies.

"We all want that whatever happens, we can mitigate the impact as much as possible so that it does not affect fellow workers. The Labour Desk must truly provide the best possible service to fellow workers, particularly those affected by redundancies," said General Sigit.

Beyond that, the Police Chief also ordered his ranks to consistently provide assistance and maximum service when workers are fighting for their rights. General Sigit explained that the National Police was committed to helping maintain the investment climate.

"Furthermore, we also accompany workers when they are fighting for their rights, and we continue our efforts to ensure the investment climate keeps growing," said Sigit.

"So that there are also spaces or new workplaces for fellow workers who have been affected. This is one of the things we continue to do," he added.

On this occasion, the Police Chief also reiterated the National Police's commitment to fighting for workers' rights, aimed at realising worker welfare.

**Police Health Facilities for Workers**

Sigit also requested that police-owned health facilities accept healthcare services for workers who are participants of the BPJS national health insurance scheme. General Sigit said this was part of the National Police's commitment to assisting the working class.

"Regarding health facilities currently managed using BPJS, BPJS Health, perhaps later the Head of the Police Medical Centre — if fellow workers wish to utilise our health facilities, perhaps they can also be assisted," said the Police Chief during his address at the KSPSI 53rd anniversary event held at PT Victory Chinglu Indonesia, Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, on Monday (16 February 2026).

The Police Chief asked Head of the Police Medical Centre Inspector General Asep Hendradiana to check which police-owned health facilities could assist BPJS-enrolled workers seeking medical treatment. General Sigit said this was being offered so that BPJS-enrolled workers would have more options for medical care.

"Please check so that there are more options available for fellow workers regarding their health matters," said the Police Chief.

"For fellow workers who receive BPJS services, please feel free to use police-owned health facilities across Indonesia, particularly in areas where services are needed by trade union members," the Police Chief explained.

General Sigit stated that this represented the National Police's commitment to providing maximum assistance to the working class. The measure also served as the Police's follow-up action in supporting the government's programme to deliver healthcare services to all citizens.

"I believe this is one form of our commitment to also provide services in matters that we must indeed deliver. And this is also a government programme that we are following up on," said the Police Chief.
