Jakarta (ANTARA) - Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has reminded Korps Brigade Mobil (Korbrimob) personnel to maintain solidarity with fellow colleagues and partners, such as the TNI. “Build good communication so that in the field we can face existing problems well together, because in the future the dynamics that exist will certainly continue to occur,” he said in his address at the Technical Work Meeting Roll Call of Korbrimob Polri at the Brimob Polri Headquarters, Depok, on Tuesday. This message was conveyed in relation to the current increasing global geopolitical situation, which has the potential to cause disruptions to public security and order (kamtibmas). According to him, a country’s resilience is determined by how the police can carefully and effectively address every challenge and threat that exists. “Of course, how we minimise the risks that occur as small as possible, so that our presence as an elite force, as a force that is truly relied upon by the Polri institution and maintains the dignity of the Korps Brimob Polri,” he stated. He is confident that with the spirit and solidarity from the entire Brimob family, no matter how heavy the tasks borne will be easy to handle. “I entrust this Polri institution on your shoulders. How colleagues are in the field, how colleagues are able to resolve all the challenges faced. This is part of how colleagues maintain our institution to remain strong and I am sure all colleagues can do that,” said the Police Chief. On Tuesday, Korbrimob Polri held a Rakernis Roll Call attended by approximately 7,000 personnel. The roll call is part of the rakernis activities with the theme “Korps Brimob Polri Precision Ready to Secure and Support Polri Programmes in Order to Succeed the Government’s 2026 Work Plan.”
