National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo chaired a Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting (Rakor) in preparation for the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriyah celebration services. The meeting focused on consolidating security strategies for managing the flow of homecoming and return traffic during Eid through Operation Ketupat 2026.

The meeting was held at the Mutiara Auditorium, STIK-PTIK Lemdiklat Polri, on Monday 2 March 2026. Under the theme “Safe Homecoming, Happy Family”, General Sigit sat together with ministers and agency heads to align security measures.

Several senior state officials attended the meeting, including Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare Pratikno, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, and Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi. Also present were the Deputy Commander for Operations of the Armed Forces, the Head of the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), the Head of the Indonesian Meteorological and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), and various state-owned enterprise directors including Pertamina, Jasa Marga, and Jasa Raharja.

General Sigit will present the readiness of Operation Ketupat 2026 during this meeting. The ministers and relevant stakeholder leaders will also present their preparations to ensure the homecoming period and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriyah proceed successfully in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto’s expectations.

In the structure of Operation Ketupat 2026, Police Chief General Listyo Sigit serves as the Policy Responsibility Officer for Operations (Bijakops), assisted by Deputy Police Chief Major General Dedi Prasetyo as Deputy Responsibility Officer. Technically, the operation will be led by the National Traffic Police Commander Major General Agus Suryonugroho as Operation Commander. All officials of Operation Ketupat 2026 were present at this coordination meeting.

The meeting was attended by 302 participants in person, including 28 senior officials from National Police Headquarters and 36 regional police commanders from across Indonesia. Meanwhile, district police commanders and regional-level leadership councils (Forkopimda) followed the meeting virtually to ensure central instructions reached the regional level.

The meeting agenda began at 09.00 Western Indonesian Time and concluded with remarks from the Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare in the afternoon. Through this cross-sectoral coordination meeting, the government hopes that all aspects—ranging from traffic flow smoothness, availability of essential goods, to transportation safety—can be guaranteed to realise safe and happy travel for the public.
