National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially launched the departure of 4,009 participants in the 2026 Polri Presisi Free Homecoming Programme at the Polda Metro Jaya field in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/3). This event symbolises cross-sectoral synergy between the police, relevant ministries, and state-owned enterprises to deliver safe and healthy homecoming journeys.

This year, Polri has prepared 81 bus fleets to transport homecomers to various destinations in Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The Police Chief emphasised that safety is the top priority, with all drivers required to undergo a series of strict health checks before departure.

“Before dispatch, we implement SOPs to ensure drivers are in good health. Checks include urine tests, alcohol tests, and tests for dangerous drug use. Earlier, the Health Minister directly witnessed the process,” said Listyo at the launch site.

The launch was attended by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs General TNI (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, as well as Polri executives and BUMN representatives.

Jasa Raharja Operations Director Ariyandi stated that Jasa Raharja’s support for this programme is a tangible manifestation of the state’s mandate to provide basic protection to the public. As part of the Indonesian Danantara ecosystem, Jasa Raharja is committed to safeguarding transportation safety during the Lebaran period.

“Synergy between Polri, ministries, and BUMN is key to ensuring the public can undertake homecoming journeys more safely and comfortably. Strong coordination among agencies is essential given the very high public mobility,” said Ariyandi.

Furthermore, Ariyandi explained that Jasa Raharja continues to strengthen technical coordination to ensure the accident insurance protection system operates optimally and responsively during the homecoming and return flows.

“Our principle is to provide responsive services and serve wholeheartedly, so that the presence of the state is truly felt by the public on every homecoming route,” he added.
