Police Chief Inspects Eid Security Posts, Ensures Readiness to Serve Homebound Travellers

The Metro Tangerang City Police Chief, Brigadier General Raden Muhammad Jauhari, conducted an inspection of several security and service posts as part of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2026. He ensured that all security posts (pospam) were prepared to serve homebound travellers.

The monitoring activities were carried out at three strategic locations: the Integrated Post at Taman Pramuka, the Service Post at Poris Plawad Terminal, and the Service Post at Magnolia Jatiuwung in Tangerang City. The inspection aimed to verify personnel readiness, adequacy of facilities and infrastructure, and optimisation of services for homebound travellers.

“We want to ensure that all personnel are ready to provide the best service to the public, whether in traffic security, health services, or assistance to those in need during their journey,” Jauhari said in a statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).

He explained that Tangerang City is a major route used by homebound travellers heading to various regions across Java or to Merak Port to cross over to Sumatra. Therefore, personnel readiness and adequate facilities at security posts are essential to ensure smooth travel during the holiday season.

“We emphasise to all personnel to prioritise humanitarian, responsive service and be ready to assist members of the public who need help during their journey,” he added.

In addition to inspecting security posts, police provided assistance and support to the community and personnel on duty. Jauhari noted that Metro Tangerang City Police consistently ensure the smooth implementation of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2026.

“Through Bhayangkari Peduli, we want to share with the community whilst providing support to our members carrying out security duties so they remain motivated to deliver the best service,” he said.
