Police Chief Inspects Bekasi JMTC to Ensure Smooth Eid Return Flow in 2026

Indonesian Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo visited the Jasa Marga Toll Road Command Centre in Bekasi, West Java, this afternoon. General Sigit directly inspected to ensure the smooth flow of the Eid return in 2026.

General Sigit arrived at the JMTC Jatiasih in Bekasi, West Java, on Wednesday (25/3/2026) afternoon. Also present were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, and Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan. The Director of Jasa Raharja, Muhammad Awaluddin, was also in attendance.

During the inspection, the Police Chief was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Police for Operations Komjen Mohammad Fadil Imran, Head of Police Professional and Security Division Irjen Abdul Karim, Head of Police Public Relations Division Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, and Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Asep Edi Suheri. Also present were Director of Mobile Security and Traffic from the Police Mobile Brigade Corps Irjen Suhendri, and Director of Traffic Enforcement from the National Traffic Corps Brigjen Faizal.

The presence of the Police Chief, Coordinating Minister, Transport Minister, and their entourage was welcomed by President Director of PT Jasa Marga Rivan Achmad Purwantono and his team. In his presentation, Rivan explained the readiness of infrastructure and technology at the JMTC in serving the Eid homecoming and return flows in 2026.

At the JMTC, there is a Control Room via the Jasa Marga Integrated Digital Map (JID) platform. This Control Room is equipped with various technologies, including 3,500 CCTV units, 28 speed camera units, 334 Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) units, 246 Traffic Counting units, 509 GPS units, and a 24-hour Call Centre to monitor traffic flow in real-time and assist the public in need.

After receiving the presentation from the President Director of Jasa Marga, the Police Chief, Coordinating Minister, Transport Minister, and Director of Jasa Raharja also directly monitored the return flow from the JMTC Control Room. Monitoring was conducted at Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Rest Area Km 389B, Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, and Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate. They also held interactive virtual dialogues with several officials on standby at those critical points.

The Police Chief urged all personnel to continue carrying out their duties to the maximum and provide the best service to the public until the end of Operation Ketupat 2026. He expressed appreciation to all Police members and related stakeholders tasked with serving the homecomers.
