Police Chief: Construction of Depok Police Resort Headquarters a Momentum to Enhance Public Services

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Metro Jaya Police Chief Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri stated that the construction of the Mako Polres Metro Depok serves as a momentum to enhance the quality of services to the public. “Construction is not just about physical development, but also a momentum to improve the quality of services to the public,” said Asep during the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Mako Polres Metro Depok in Depok on Wednesday. He mentioned that the construction of Mako Polres Metro Depok is a step to strengthen police facilities and infrastructure. According to him, the new facilities are expected to support faster, more comfortable, and optimal Polri services for the people of Depok City. “Police offices must become service spaces for the public,” Asep stated. Police offices, he said, must become safe places to visit, making the public feel valued, and presenting Polri as protectors, guardians, and servants of the community. “Do not hurt the hearts of the public and be police who are beneficial to the community,” Asep emphasised. Meanwhile, Depok Mayor Supian Suri appreciated the Polri ranks for their dedication and collaboration in maintaining security and order in Depok City. “Support for the construction of Mako Polres is a form of the local government’s commitment to strengthening public services,” Supian remarked. On the same occasion, Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Abdul Waras expressed that the construction of Mako Polres Metro Depok becomes a symbol of new spirit for the Depok Metro Police ranks in responding to public expectations. “With more representative facilities, services to the public are expected to be even better, faster, comfortable, and professional,” Abdul revealed.
