Police Chief Conducts Ketupat Operation Troop Review, Provides Vehicle Aid to Disaster-Affected Police Departments
Jakarta — National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, alongside Armed Forces Commander General Agus Subianto, led the Coordinated Police Operation Troop Review for “Ketupat 2026” on 12 March 2026 at Monas Intersection Square in Jakarta to ensure security during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebration.
The National Police Chief stated that the troop review was conducted to support readiness for securing the Eid al-Fitr homecoming. “This troop review represents an assessment of personnel and infrastructure readiness, and demonstrates our commitment and cross-sectoral synergy to ensure the success of Operation Ketupat 2026, so that the homecoming and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebrations proceed safely, comfortably, orderly and smoothly,” said the Police Chief.
The event also included a presentation of vehicle assistance to police departments affected by disasters, including the Aceh Police Department, North Sumatra Police Department, and West Sumatra Police Department.
During the occasion, General Sigit distributed 150 KLX 150 CC motorcycles to the Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra Police Departments to serve the public, particularly during Operation Ketupat 2026.
The Police Chief emphasised the importance of maintaining domestic security stability amid dynamic escalation of global situations. The smooth flow of holiday travel was considered an important indicator in maintaining momentum for national economic growth.
“The success of Operation Ketupat is our collective responsibility. We must continuously strengthen solidarity and synergy in every task execution. Together, let us realise ‘Safe Homecoming, Happy Family’,” he stated.
The event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs General (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago, Defence Minister General (Ret.) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Deputy National Police Chief General Dedy Prasetyo, National Police Traffic Corps Commander Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, TNI-Police Joint Task Force leaders, and other stakeholders.
