Police Chief asks Yogyakarta Regional Police to provide optimal services for the community

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has requested that all ranks of the Yogyakarta Special Region Police (Polda DIY) provide optimal services to the entire community.

The Police Chief has inaugurated the start of construction for the Polda DIY Headquarters, themed ‘Building Precise Bhayangkara, Maintaining World Harmony’. Sigit appreciated the Yogyakarta Provincial Government’s support for the construction of the Yogyakarta Police Headquarters.

“And in the future, we hope that Polda DIY can truly provide optimal services to the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which we know as a cultural city, tourism city, and education city,” Sigit said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Sunday.

To that end, he asked his ranks to maintain, improve, and create beauty and harmony in society, which aligns with Tri Brata and Catur Prasetya.

He stated that the Governor of DIY, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono, entrusted that the Polda DIY building should not only stand as a physical structure but also fulfil its function to appear as police services with capabilities.

He also emphasised that the Polda DIY ranks must support the concept of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. He also expressed thanks for the support and cooperation from all parties regarding the construction.

“And also the great hope from the Yogyakarta community towards the performance of the National Police to truly be professional, close, and loved by the community,” he said.
