Police Bust Illegal Hard Drug Circulation in Muara Angke, Targeting Fishermen and Crew Members

The Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police uncovered the circulation of illegal prescription drugs in the Muara Angke area, North Jakarta, targeting fishermen and ship crew members (ABK), on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

Kasubdit Gakkum of Ditpolairud Metro Jaya Police, Ardhie Demastyo, stated that the revelation stemmed from public information regarding the distribution of prescription drugs directed at ABK or fishermen.

Evidence seized from A consists of 444 white Double Y tablets, 248 Tramadol tablets, 2,141 yellow Hexymer tablets, 61 Alprazolam Mersi 1 mg tablets, 790 Trihexyphenidyl 2 mg tablets, 39 Calmlet Alprazolam 1 mg tablets, 49 Merlopam tablets, 2 Lorazepam Mersi 2 mg tablets, 83 Atarax tablets, 1 Alprazolam Mersi 1 mg tablet, 37 Riklona tablets, 2 Clonazepam Mersi 2 mg tablets, and 85 Alprazolam Mersi 0.5 mg tablets.

Meanwhile, the Director of Water and Air Police (Dirpolairud) of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Mustafa, said that A was arrested by Ditpolairud for further investigation.

“Investigators are also continuing to develop the case to uncover the possibility of other involved networks,” he stated in the same official remarks on Wednesday.
