Police begin probe into Kendari blast
KENDARI, Southeast Sulawesi: Police officers began on Wednesday investigating a bomb explosion outside the house of local antigraft activist, Hidayatullah, in Kendari city a day earlier.
Two police officers from the Makassar Police Forensic Unit were combing through the debris in front of Hidayatullah's house, looking for evidence.
Chief of Kendari municipality police Adj. Sr. Comr. Joko Mulyono said that a police team had questioned eight witnesses about the case, including Hidayatullah. This was the second attack on the activist's house in 15 months. -- JP
