Police Award 63 Immigration and Prison Officers for Assisting in Drug Eradication Efforts
The Directorate of Narcotics Criminal Investigation (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) has awarded 63 officers from Immigration to correctional facilities. The awards were given in recognition of their synergy in combating narcotics.
“We are giving these awards because of our ongoing cooperation in the framework of narcotics eradication,” said the Head of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, in a statement on Thursday (26/2/2026).
The awards were given as a form of appreciation for cross-agency cooperation. Eko admitted that he was greatly assisted by the Immigration, Customs and Excise, and correctional facility divisions.
“In the future, we will improve this cooperation. We will fix what is lacking and improve what is already good,” he said.
“There are approximately 63 personnel. These are inputs from colleagues from Immigration, from correctional facilities, regarding which ones should be prioritised. The point is the objectivity of the input provided by our colleagues in each of these agencies,” he added.

- Legal Analyst, Directorate General of Correctional Facilities
Uncovered 14,000 grams of methamphetamine and 7,963 grams of marijuana, 30,000 grams of cannabis, 488 ecstasy pills, and 199 packs of cartridges (Ettomedate).
- Head of Class 1 Cirebon Correctional Facility
Uncovered 20,249 grams of cannabis.
- Head of Security Unit of Correctional Facility (KPLP) Class 2A Tanjung Pinang
Uncovered 9,450 ecstasy pills.
- Head of Contingency Plan and Disaster Management Working Group (Directorate of Security and Intelligence)
Uncovered 2,919 grams of methamphetamine.
- Head of the West Java Regional Office of the Directorate General of Correctional Facilities
Uncovered the smuggling of narcotics to a taxi driver who raped a female passenger.
- Head of the Enforcement and Investigation Section
Uncovered 14,260 grams of methamphetamine, 6,726 ecstasy pills, 29.5 grams of ecstasy powder, and 1,010 grams of MDMA.
- Junior Expert for Human Resources of the Directorate General of Correctional Facilities
Uncovered 188 kg of methamphetamine.
