Police arrest two suspects in case of ordered brides for Chinese nationals
The Directorate of Criminal Acts for the Protection of Women and Children and the Eradication of Human Trafficking (PPA-PPO) of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters has arrested two suspects in a case involving ordered brides, in which Indonesian citizens were supplied to Chinese nationals. During a press conference at the Criminal Investigation Building of the National Police Headquarters on Wednesday (19/8), police stated that the two suspects each received profits of Rp20 million and Rp5 million as payment.
