Police Arrest Two Dealers in West Jakarta, Seize Thousands of Tramadol Pills and Drug-Laced Vapes

Kembangan Police have arrested two drug dealers operating in Cengkareng and Grogol Petamburan. Officers seized a range of evidence including vapes containing the potent pharmaceutical etomidate and methamphetamine.

In the first case, officers detained a man identified as RRF (24) in East Cengkareng. Police seized 1,071 grams of methamphetamine, 57 vapes containing etomidate, and other items from the suspect.

In the second case, police arrested MS (24) in Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan. Officers seized 13 etomidate vapes, 8,400 Tramadol pills, 34,500 trihexyphenidyl pills, 31,000 Hexymer pills, 980 Alprazolam pills, 300 Mersi Riklona pills, and 100 Mersi Diazepam pills.

“The arrests of the two drug dealers, RRF (24) and MS (24), were carried out at the end of July 2026,” said Kembangan Police Chief Commissioner Moch Taufik Iksan to reporters on Thursday (6/8/2026).

Taufik said the operation demonstrates the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to protecting the public, particularly the younger generation, from the threat of narcotics abuse. Drug trafficking not only damages health but also threatens the future of the nation’s youth.

Suspect MS is charged under Article 610 (2) in conjunction with Article 609 (2) of Indonesian Law No. 01 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustments and/or Article 114 (2) in conjunction with Article 119 (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, in conjunction with Article 60 paragraph (5) and Article 62 of Law No. 05 of 1997 on Psychotropics, and Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraph (2) of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health.

Suspect RRF (24) is charged under Article 610 (2) in conjunction with Article 609 (2) of Indonesian Law No. 01 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustments and/or Article 114 (2) in conjunction with Article 119 (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics.
