Police arrest teenage girls

JAKARTA (JP): South Jakarta Police officers rounded up at
least 23 teenage girls loitering on the streets of the popular
Blok M shopping and business area during a midnight raid on
Sunday.

According to police, the teenagers were arrested for not
possessing legal identification cards.

Some of the girls were found in possession of pornographic
video compact discs and sharp weapons.

South Jakarta Police chief Lt. Col. Hary Prasetya said the
girls were being questioned. (ylt)
