Police Arrest Suspect for Theft at West Bandung Elementary School

A man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into SDN Cisarongge in Cihampelas District, West Bandung Regency, and stealing items worth approximately Rp10 million. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Solehudin, allegedly forced his way into the teachers’ room and stole a laptop, a speaker, and a CCTV unit. The theft was discovered on Wednesday (8/7) at around 10:00 WIB when a teacher arrived for a meeting. Based on witness statements and CCTV footage, police determined the suspect entered the room at approximately 02:13 WIB. Officers later apprehended Solehudin and seized evidence including a red crowbar, a Staf Studio brand speaker, and a flash drive containing CCTV recordings. The suspect is charged under Article 477 of the Indonesian Criminal Code for theft with aggravation. Police have called on residents to increase their vigilance against criminal activity.
