Police Arrest Singer Piche Kota on Suspicion of Rape in Atambua, NTT

Police arrested singer Piche Kota, also known as PYDAJK, in connection with an alleged rape case involving a minor.

Piche was arrested at his residence in Atambua, Belu Regency, NTT, on Saturday (28 February) at approximately 13:00 Western Indonesian Standard Time.

“On Saturday, 28 February 2026 at 13:00 WITA, investigators conducted an arrest of the suspect with initials PK at his residence,” said Belu Police Chief AKBP I Gede Eka Putra Astawa in a written statement to CNN Indonesia.com on Saturday (28/2).

Following Piche Kota’s arrest, investigators proceeded with detention procedures. However, noting the suspect’s health complaints, investigators from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of Belu Police’s Criminal Investigation Division immediately conducted a medical examination.

“Health examination by a doctor from Belu Police’s partner clinic. Based on initial examination results, the suspect was found to be in poor health and was recommended to rest,” said Astawa.

He stated that based on the initial medical examination, investigators transported Piche Kota to Atambua Regional Hospital for further observation.

Petrus Yohanes Debrito Armando Jaga Kota, alias Piche Kota, was previously reported to be involved in an alleged sexual violence case against a 16-year-old high school student with initials ACT.

The victim allegedly experienced sexual violence by Piche Kota and two others identified as Roni Mali and RAS. The report was filed with Belu Police on Tuesday (13 January) under police report number LP/B/12/I/2026/SPKT/Polres Belu/Polda NTT.
