Police arrest oil adulterator

SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: Local police have arrested a man
suspected of adulterating the lubricating oil and distributing
the contraband in the city.

The suspect, identified only as BT, was arrested early last
week at his house which he also used as his business quarters,
according to chief of the local police precinct Lt. Col.
Suprihadi Usman.

He said that the police had suspected BT for a few months, but
they had yet to observe the difference between the original and
adulterated oil before raiding the man's house.

Suprihadi said that the team assigned to conduct the raid
included officials from the state-owned Pertamina oil company
which produced the original lubricating oil, Antara reported.
