Police arrest Norwegian fugitives
JAKARTA: A joint team of Indonesian and Norwegian police officers arrested two Norwegian fugitives, Bo Yngvar Eriksen, 30, and Joy Marius Eriksen, 25, in Denpasar, Bali, last Friday.
The two reportedly entered Indonesia some time ago on fake passports. They are wanted in Norway for their alleged involvement in two big drug cases, which are called Snaroya and Kenwood.
In the Snaroya case, police seized 43 kilograms of amphetamine powder and 165 kg of marijuana, while in the Kenwood case they seized 230 kg of amphetamine powder, 130,000 amphetamine pills, 130,000 rohypnol pills, 300 kg of marijuana and 10 kg of cocaine.
The Norwegian police officers, who have been in Indonesia since April 20, will escort the two suspects back to Norway on Wednesday. -- JP
