Police arrest killer of foreign couple whose bodies were dumped in West Bandung Regency
Bogor, Indonesia — The Bogor Police Resort Criminal Investigation Unit has secured a suspect believed to have killed a husband and wife identified as MA (56) and FA (47) in Bogor City. The preliminary allegation is that the victims were executed at their home in Kampung Citeko Lapang, RT 03/06, Desa Citeko, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency, West Java.
The suspect then transported the two victims, who are foreigners, by car to a location in the yard of an empty house on Jalan Raya Padalarang-Cianjur, Kampung Pamucatan, RT 01/10, Desa Ciburuy, Padalarang District, Bandung Barat Regency, West Java, where they were found on Tuesday morning (3 March 2026). “The suspect has been detained by one person,” said AKP Anggi Eko Prasetya, head of the Bogor Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit, after evacuating the victims in Bandung Barat, on Tuesday (3/3/2026).
Police are still examining the motive for killing the husband and wife. However, from the chronology, the Bogor CID received a report from the victims’ relatives of a suspected burglary at the victims’ home on Monday (2/3/2026) at around 21:00 WIB. This was known because the house in Bogor was found in a disordered state.
“We can tell you that yesterday at 9 p.m. in the Cisarua district we received information from the victims’ colleague, who when visiting the victims’ home suspected something unusual and subsequently reported it to the police,” Anggi said.
The police then checked the victims’ home, which is known to be a husband-and-wife couple. At the scene, officers found the house in disarray and bloodstains.
“Then the team moved and indeed found a suspicious condition because inside it was in disarray and there were traces of blood,” Anggi said.
From the investigation, police strongly suspect that the couple were murder victims. Anggi said the police ultimately found indications that the two victims were dumped within Cimahi’s jurisdiction. The Bogor CID subsequently contacted the Cimahi CID.
“Alhamdulillah now both victims have been evacuated; we have taken them to hospital to undergo procedures including autopsy. The husband-and-wife victims,” he said.
