Police Arrest Frans Antoni, Financial Controller of Fredy Pratama's Drug Network

The Directorate of Narcotics Crime at the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) has successfully arrested Frans Antoni (FA), identified as the primary financial controller within the international narcotics network led by major kingpin Fredy Pratama. Fredy Pratama is an Indonesian citizen who has been a most-wanted fugitive (DPO) since 2014. He is known as an international narcotics syndicate kingpin who controls the illicit drug trade in Indonesia from his base in Thailand. The Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, confirmed that Frans Antoni was repatriated from Malaysia and arrived in Jakarta on Friday (19/6/2026) afternoon. This arrest marks a significant step in efforts to sever the funding chain of the criminal organisation. Based on observations at the scene, Frans arrived at the Bareskrim Polri building in Jakarta at approximately 15:28 WIB under tight security. Wearing glasses, a black shirt, and grey trousers, Frans remained silent as officers escorted him in handcuffs. In addition to Frans, officers were also seen bringing a masked woman whose identity is still being investigated. As of now, the police are conducting intensive examinations of Frans Antoni to trace the flow of funds and assets belonging to the Fredy Pratama network, which are suspected of being laundered through various financial instruments. This arrest is expected to provide new clues regarding the whereabouts of Fredy Pratama, who remains a fugitive. The National Police reaffirmed its commitment to continue pursuing all members of this network, both domestically and those hiding abroad, in order to eradicate narcotics trafficking in the country down to its roots.
