Police arrest financial controller of Fredy Pratama drug network

Jakarta - The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Directorate for Drug Offences has arrested Frans Antoni, the financial controller of the drug network belonging to kingpin Fredy Pratama. Director of Drug Offences at the Criminal Investigation Department, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that Frans was brought in from Malaysia and flown to Jakarta on Friday afternoon. Based on monitoring, Frans arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department building in Jakarta on Friday at 15.28 Western Indonesia Time. Frans was seen wearing glasses, a black shirt, grey trousers, and black shoes. As he got out of the car, he was escorted by officers into the building with his hands handcuffed. Behind him, officers also escorted a woman who covered her face with a mask. When journalists asked questions, Frans remained silent and followed the officers’ instructions to enter the building. Fredy Pratama is an Indonesian citizen who is a kingpin of an international narcotics network. He is reportedly residing in and controlling the drug trafficking from Thailand. Fredy has been on the wanted list since 2014.
