Police arrest account holders used for drug transactions by Koko Erwin and "The Doctor"
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Narcotics Crime Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of Bareskrim Polri has arrested two account holders used for transactions by the drug syndicate network of Erwin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin and Andre Fernando alias The Doctor.
The two account holders are two women with the initials DEH and L. They were arrested on 14 and 16 April 2026.
Director of Tipidnarkoba at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General of Police Eko Hadi Santoso, in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Saturday, said that initially Bareskrim Polri arrested DEH in Ciampanan Village, Cineam Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency, on 14 April 2026.
Eko explained that the arrest of DEH was carried out by Polri because the account in question was used as a holding account related to the Koko Erwin network. The account was known to be controlled by Charles Bernado.
Based on interrogation of DEH, she stated that around August 2025, she met someone named Tisna.
“Tisna offered to create an account and promised a sum of Rp2 million,” he said.
He said DEH admitted that due to economic pressures, she agreed to have an account created in her name.
Meanwhile, on 16 April 2026, Eko said Polri arrested L in Cimuning Ward, Mustika Jaya Subdistrict, Bekasi City, West Java.
According to him, initially L was offered by her child to open an account and promised Rp1 million, around August 2024.
Meanwhile, her child was asked for help by a neighbour named Inayah to open an account on the grounds that it would be used for an online clothing sales business. L’s child had known Inayah since May 2024.
Inayah, along with her husband Ivan Suryadinata, then picked up L and her child to open two accounts at a private bank. Because L had previously had an account but it was inactive, she only reactivated it.
Eko then said that the account in L’s name was subsequently suspected to be controlled by the Doctor syndicate.
He said Polri will conduct further investigations regarding the involvement of other parties. In addition, Eko said Polri will examine several witnesses to complete the case file.
