Police Arrest 3 Illegal Hard Drug Dealers in Bogor, Homemade Firearm Seized
Police have arrested three dealers of hard drugs without distribution permits, or illegal drugs, in the Cigombong area of Bogor, West Java. Thousands of pills and a homemade firearm were seized during the arrests.
“The evidence includes 5,570 pills, Rp 2.8 million in cash, one wooden drawer box, one homemade firearm, and four sharp weapons,” said Bogor Police Narcotics Unit Chief AKP Maulana Yusuf Bakhtiar on Saturday (15/8/2026).
The three arrested dealers were identified as MF (24), RC (17), and A (21). The drugs seized consisted of 1,950 tramadol pills, 2,600 hexymer pills, 400 Y pills, and 620 trihexyphenidyl pills.
“The chronology began on Wednesday, 5 August 2026 at around 6.30 p.m. Western Indonesia Time, when officers successfully detained a man who identified himself as MF,” he said.
Investigators then conducted a search of MF. At that time, a wooden box, 750 tramadol pills, 1,600 hexymer pills, 400 Y pills, 20 trihexyphenidyl pills, and Rp 2.8 million in cash were found.
“MF admitted that the evidence belonged to C and was intended to be sold or distributed,” he explained.
Investigators then developed the case. Early the following morning, they detained two other suspects, A and RC.
“The suspects admitted they were still storing pharmaceutical supplies at their rented accommodation. Members of the Bogor Police Narcotics Unit then accompanied the suspects to conduct a further search of the rented house,” he added.
At the rented property, officers found 1,200 tramadol pills, 600 trihexyphenidyl pills, and 1,000 hexymer pills. The suspects admitted obtaining the items from an individual who is still being pursued by police.
“The suspects and the evidence were then taken to the Bogor Police Narcotics Unit office for further processing. The charges applied are Article 435 and/or Article 436 paragraph 2 of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health in conjunction with Appendix I Number 181 of Law Number 1 of 2026 on Criminal Adjustments,” he concluded.
