Police and journalists provide assistance to 100 orphaned children
The Head of the Public Relations Division of Polri, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that the activity represents a synergy between Polri and journalists to share with their neighbours during the month of Ramadhan.
“In this blessed month, Polri and the Trunojoyo Journalists collaborate to share, particularly with communities in need,” he said.
He hoped that the assistance provided would benefit recipients and bring blessings.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of Al Ikhlas Mosque’s management committee, Mohammad Yamin, expressed gratitude for the assistance.
“We are grateful for the provision of cash assistance and food packages to orphaned children and the underprivileged. We also pray that all police personnel assigned to Operation Ketupat 2026 can carry out their duties smoothly,” he said.
Meanwhile, Yudha Marhaean, a representative from the Trunojoyo Journalists, urged the community in the Al Ikhlas Mosque area to maintain harmony and unity.
“We hope this can bring joy, spirit and prayers so that our children grow into a strong generation with noble character and are beneficial to the nation and religion,” he said.
In addition to cash assistance, Polri headquarters and the Trunojoyo Journalists distributed 100 food packages to recipients as well as 100 breaking-fast meals.
The activity is an initiative by journalists carried out annually and supported by Polri.
On Tuesday 10 March, Polri headquarters and the Trunojoyo Journalists carried out the distribution of breaking-fast meals to the general public passing in front of Polri headquarters in South Jakarta.
