Police Again Forward Jokowi Diploma Case Files to the Prosecutor's Office

Yes, that means the case file has been sent back to the Prosecutor’s Office. Therefore, in the near future we will inform on whether it has reached P-21 and the plan for the second phase. We will announce later, said the Head of Public Relations for Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday, 23 May 2026.

Kombes Budi said they had coordinated with the public prosecutor (JPU). It is known that the case is handled by Sub-Directorate for State Security of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya.

“We have coordinated with the Public Prosecutor. In the near future, we will report the steps from Subdit Kamneg Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya regarding the plenary disposition of this case. We will report later,” he said.

In the matter alleging Jokowi’s fake diploma, Polda Metro Jaya has named a total of eight people as suspects. Polda Metro Jaya has issued a letter of termination of investigation (SP3) against three suspects.

The three suspects whose investigations have been halted are Eggi Sudjana, Damai Hari Lubis, and Rismon Sianipar.

Meanwhile, five other suspects chose to proceed with the case. There are two clusters of suspects in this case.

The suspects in the first cluster are Kurnia Tri Royani, Rizal Fadilah, and Rustam Effendi. In the second cluster there are suspects Roy Suryo and Tifauziah Tyassuma or dr Tifa.
