Polda Metro Jaya Investigates Death of Sutrimo in Kebayoran Baru, Examines Witness Statements and Medical Records
Polda Metro Jaya and the South Jakarta Metro Police are investigating the cause of death of a man named Sutrimo, 42, who was found dead on Thursday (23/7) in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta.
“The victim was taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital. However, the hospital stated that Sutrimo arrived already deceased,” said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Budi Hermanto, in Jakarta on Sunday (26/7).
He explained that, based on preliminary information, the victim was found lying in the yard of a beauty clinic named Mordent in Kebayoran Baru.
Police are gathering testimony from a number of witnesses, including the victim’s family, the ambulance driver, and hospital staff, in handling the case of Sutrimo’s death.
Investigators are also examining the victim’s medical records, the history of the ambulance booking, and delving into the location where the deceased was first found.
“Because the process is still ongoing, we cannot yet conclude the cause of the deceased’s death,” he said.
A number of parties have linked the issue of Sutrimo’s death to the case of former Attorney for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. Sutrimo was said to be the household affairs chief of prosecutor Febrie. Regarding this matter, Budi said it is still being investigated.
The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iskandarsyah, said investigators are collecting witness statements and combing through CCTV footage related to the death of a man named Sutrimo.

Witnesses near the location saw the victim’s car stop abruptly before eventually reporting the incident to traffic officers on duty.
