Pokdarkamtibmas Penjaringan Appreciates Sabuk Kamtibmas to Strengthen Regional Security

A member of Pokdarkamtibmas at the Penjaringan Police Sub-sector, Mustamin, has expressed appreciation for the Sabuk Kamtibmas activity in maintaining regional security stability. According to him, maintaining regional security stability requires collective responsibility between the police and residents.

Mustamin said the initiative serves as a strategic means to open regular dialogue. Through intensive interaction, potential friction or disturbances to public order at the grassroots level can be detected and mitigated early.

“Maintaining security and order is not only the police’s job. The community has a role through concern for the environment and communication that continues to be built,” Mustamin said on Saturday (29/8/2026).

He expressed his team’s readiness to continue assisting officers in the field. Mustamin is optimistic that residents’ awareness in maintaining the area’s tranquillity will increase through this activity.

“We from Pokdarkamtibmas are ready to help and work together with the police to maintain environmental order. Hopefully steps like this are consistently carried out,” he stressed.

Sabuk Kamtibmas was held in the grounds of the Penjaringan Metro Police headquarters, North Jakarta, on Thursday (27/8/2026), involving Pokdarkamtibmas, FBR, BPPKB Banten, online motorcycle taxi communities, and police personnel. The activity also included the distribution of basic food packages consisting of five kilograms of rice and a free motorcycle oil change service.
